Sheen and Colour PARA offers six basic sheen levels in many product lines. Please review the chart below to see where the various sheens are best used. Consult an actual Sheen Selector chip to see how colour is affected by sheen level (available through your PARA Paints Dealer). Please note that all colours are not available in all paint types.

Flat:  Walls, Ceilings and low activity areas. It's gently washable using mild dish detergent some water and a soft rag, Excellent choice of finish for concealing surface irregularities.

Velvet:  Low to medium activity areas. Good washability & stain removal. Recommended for dining rooms, bed rooms and living rooms.

Eggshell:  Walls & trim in medium to high activity areas. Easy-clean, washable finish.

Pearl: Walls, trim, doors in medium to high activity areas. Stain resistant, durable, easy-clean scrubbable finish. PARA's Melamine finishes are between Eggshell and Pearl.

Semi-Gloss:  Walls, trim, doors, in high activity areas. Highly stain resistant, durable, easy-clean scrubbable finish.

Gloss:  Walls, trim, doors in high activity areas. Cupboard, furniture. Super easy-clean, scrubbable finish Excellent stain resistance and extremely durable.
